The Renown Kindergarten’s Committee of Management is a vital part of the kindergarten and is directly responsible for managing the affairs of the centre, as listed above.
Committee meetings are held once a month. All parents are invited to attend at any time.
The Committee consists of:-
| PRESIDENT | Plans agenda/chairs meeting. Co-ordinates and delegates committee responsibilities. |
| VICE-PRESIDENT | Assists President as required. |
| SECRETARY | Responsible for correspondence. Maintains records, takes and distributes minutes of meetings, etc. |
| TREASURER | Monitors/prepares budget, assists in salaries, insurance. |
| ORDINARY MEMBERS | Eight people who support main office bearers and may be responsible for sub-committees such as:- Fee Collection Maintenance Fundraising Staff Liaison Payroll Working Bees Promotions. |
Joining the committee is a great way to directly impact on your child’s environment whilst at the kinder. It is a strong commitment and a great way to meet other parents in the community.
