The daily timetable for each kindergarten group is carefully planned and forms the basic structure of the day.
Within the timetable the program aims to:
- Offer activities/experiences which are suited to each childs age and stage of development
- Enhance each childs knowledge/ skills in a range of curriculum activities
The program aims to offer a balance between the following types of play activities:
- Indoor and outdoor play activities
- Group experiences small and/or large group time(s)
- Child directed play and teacher directed play activities
- Active and quiet times
- Snack/meal break times
What your child should bring to Kinder each day:
- a bag large enough to take work home,
- sensible shoes for climbing,
- practical clothing,
- a hat in summer,
- a warm coat in winter,
- a healthy snack for snack time (note this is a snack NOT lunch)
- a complete change of clothes (just in case! and especially in wet weather)
- lunch, if they attend for the full day, and a second snack if they are staying for the morning and afternoon session.
What your child should leave at home:
- sweets, lollies, chips, roll ups
- toys & other personal belongings
- best clothes
- thongs
- ILLNESSES - Germs spread very quickly at Kinder, so if you think your child is ill, please keep them at home.
