Within the timetable the program aims to:

  • Offer activities/experiences which are suited to each child’s age and stage of development
  • Enhance each child’s knowledge/ skills in a range of curriculum activities

The program aims to offer a balance between the following types of play activities:

  • Indoor and outdoor play activities
  • Group experiences – small and/or large group time(s)
  • Child directed play and teacher directed play activities
  • Active and quiet times
  • Snack/meal break times

  • practical clothing,
  • a hat in summer,
  • a warm coat in winter,
  • a healthy snack for snack time (note this is a snack NOT lunch)
  • a complete change of clothes (just in case! and especially in wet weather)
  • lunch, if they attend for the full day, and a second snack if they are staying for the        morning and afternoon session.

What your child should leave at home:

  • ILLNESSES - Germs spread very quickly at Kinder, so if you think your child is ill, please keep them at home.
