Working bees
All parents are expected to participate in at least one of 4 working bees held each year. Children are welcome and we try to cater during the day. Any family who is unable to attend will incur a fee $100. This fee will be deducted from your deposit refund at the end of the year. It will be added to your invoice if your child leaves kinder before the end of year. Should you be unable to attend a working bee, there is also the opportunity to retain your deposit by helping with the cleaning of the kindergarten at the end of the year.
Late Pick-up Fee
Parents who arrive after pick-up time are requested to sign the Late Book. Parents who are more than 5 minutes late will be asked to pay a late fee of $5 per minute for every minute late. Late fees are payable at the time of pick up or will be added to the childs fee invoice.
Other Monies
From time to time you will need to pay for excursions, fundraising orders, etc. Please organise the correct money at home. Staff are unable to provide change.
FEE RELIEF
Child Care Rebate:
Renown Kindergarten is registered with the Childcare Cash Rebate Scheme. Please ask for a brochure if you dont have one in your information folder. Fee relief is available for parents of 4 year-old children who are recipients of a Medicare Health Benefit Card. Please advise the Fees Officer if you qualify for Fee Relief. No fee relief is available to parents of 3 year-old children.
Child Care Benefit:
Working parents can claim a rebate for 4 Y.O. Kindergarten fees. You must fill in a form either through the term or at the end of each term. The book is available from the Director. Please fill in the form and bring in your receipt when asking the Director to sign.
