INCLUSION

Renown Kindergarten works in partnership with Government to identify families in need and to ensure they have access to relevant support programs and funding.​

EARLY START KINDERGARTEN

Early Start Kindergarten provides free or low cost kindergarten to eligible three year old children where programs are offered by a qualified teacher. All of Renown's programs are delivered by qualified teachers. If your child is:

Aged three by 30 April in the year they will be attending a kindergarten program, and:

  1. is Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or

  2. your family has had contact with Child Protection (or been referred by them to Child FIRST),

they will be eligible for Early Start Kindergarten. For further information and how to apply, click below.

KOORIE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAM

The Koorie Early Childhood Education Program is a joint initiative of the Department of Human Services in partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Inc (VAEAI), to support Koori access Kindergarten. For further information, click below.

KINDERGARTEN INCLUSION SUPPORT SERVICES

The Kindergarten Inclusion Support Packages are designed to provide further support to children:

  1. with a disability and high support needs and/or

  2. with complex medical needs.

The support from the Kindergarten Inclusion Support Packages is in addition to the existing resources available to the kindergarten staff and may not provide full coverage of all costs. LANGUAGE SERVICES

Renown understands that some information is best received in a family's first language. Should you require language support for meetings at kinder, we can arrange Translation Services. Simply ask your child's teacher or contact Natalie at Reception.
