FEES BREAKDOWN
Renown Kindergarten offers Funded Kindergarten. Renown is not currently part of the free kindergarten initiative.
The Department of Education (DE) provides funding for each child enrolled and attending kindergarten in the two years before school as a contribution toward the costs of providing the program. Renown Kindergarten meet the balance of costs through charging fees and fundraising activities. Children in Victoria can access one funded year in a 3 year old kindergarten program (15hrs per week) and one year in a 4 year old kindergarten program (15hrs per week). This is available to all Victorian children regardless of their visa status.
DE provides a Kindergarten Fee Subsidy that enables children from eligible families to attend a kindergarten program free of charge or at low cost in the two years before school.

DE also provides Early Start Kindergarten funding to assist eligible three-year-old Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, from a refugee or asylum seeker background or the family have had contact with child protection, to access kindergarten programs.
Renown Kindergarten reserves the right to charge full fees, including the equivalent of the government subsidy that is not received by the family, which might be receiving their funding in an alternate kindergarten program.
Renown provides a range of support options to parents/guardians experiencing difficulty with payment of fees. Please contact us directly to discuss options.
